This exercise draws on your natural point of aim, uses both flash and float sight pictures and a simple transition from “body” to “head”. In law enforcement and self defense this is often called the Failure Drill. The third shot is needed when the first two have failed to stop the threat. Don’t be in a rush to miss. The report should clearly sound like a pair of shots, a delay, followed by a third shot.
